First Patrons
The Corporation Charter requires it to maintain a maximum of five (5) Patrons of the Organisation who shall ensure compliance with the aims and objects of the Organisation. The first Patrons of the Organisation, at the time of incorporation, October 7th, 1999 were: (1) Haywood Dennis and (2) Honourable Judge D. Dial, LL. B,.
Patrons’ Mandate
- Responsibility. The Patrons have the responsibility for exercising a review of expenditure and of exercising the veto.
- Power and Authority. The Patrons may remove any director from office who is guilty of conduct, which tends, to bring the Organisation in disrepute.
- Duration. The patron shall hold office subject to the (a) retirement, (b) resignation or (c) disability or (d) inability to perform for any reason whatever.
- Characteristic. The Patrons shall be person of impeccable character and reputation and of proven calibre and dedication to the fundamentals sound principals, i.e., practice strong ethical, moral and humanitarian lives.
- Successor. The Patrons may appoint another patron and may appoint successors.
- Remuneration. The Patrons shall be paid a modest honorarium and all their expenses for attendance to their duties to the Organisation including: (a) functions, (b) interviews, and (c) conferences, without exception.
